Local storage

This site saves the following in your browser's local storage:

• your chosen palette
• whether sound is on or off
• the achievements you've unlocked and your progress towards others
• the date of your first visit

This stays on your device and isn't sent anywhere. You can remove it by clearing site data in your browser, and the "Clear progress" button on the achievements page clears achievement data.

Analytics

I count visits with a self-hosted copy of Matomo. It doesn't use cookies and IP addresses are anonymised. When you unlock an achievement, it records which one and how many you've unlocked. This data isn't shared with anyone.

Cloudflare

This site is served through Cloudflare for performance and security. Cloudflare processes your IP address and request details, and may set a cookie to check for bots. See Cloudflare's privacy policy.

Newsletter

If you sign up to the newsletter, your email address is stored along with the sign-up date and your IP address, as a record of the sign-up. Your email address is only used to send the newsletter, which is a few emails a year. None of it is shared or sold. This is based on your consent.

Emails are sent through a GDPR-compliant newsletter provider on my behalf. If I change provider, your address will be moved to the new one.

You can unsubscribe at any time using the link in any email, or by replying. Your address is then deleted.

The sign-up form uses Cloudflare Turnstile to prevent spam. It loads when you start using the form and processes your IP address and browser information. See the Turnstile privacy addendum.

Your rights

You can ask to access, correct or delete your data by emailing [email protected]. For the newsletter, you can also reply to any email.
